What is a Reverse Tummy Tuck?
A reverse tummy tuck (also called a reverse abdominoplasty) is a cosmetic surgery procedure that removes excess loose skin and tightens tissue in the upper abdomen, near the area right under the breasts or chest, rather than the lower belly area that a traditional tummy tuck targets. The surgeon makes an incision along the lower breast fold or chest area, then pulls the upper abdominal skin upward and secures it, trimming away the extra skin that's left over. It's often chosen by people who have loose upper abdominal skin from weight loss or aging but don't have much excess skin lower down, or as a complement to a breast lift or breast reduction since the incision can sometimes be hidden along the same scar line.
