At Ranch & Coast Plastic Surgery, we offer our patients an entirely unique formula for rejuvenation: their own stem cells! A patient’s own stem cells offer remarkable healing properties, frequently producing anti-aging results that out-pace artificial means. By reinjecting stem cells into areas requiring rejuvenation, our providers leverage the body’s natural regenerative process, allowing our patients relief from cosmetic aging concerns.

How Does Stem Cell Facial Rejuvenation Work?

Stem cells are a unique type of cell found naturally in the body. Stem cells can be taken from one part of the body and used in another. They naturally transform themselves into the type of cell needed in the target area, delivering healing and rejuvenation. At Ranch & Coast, our providers typically use stem cells to deliver facial rejuvenation. When the stem cells are strategically injected into the face, it allows the body to produce increased levels of collagen and elastin. As such, patients find that stem cell therapy replaces aging facial skin cells and improves the vibrant, supple quality of the skin.

Stem Cell Therapy: the Treatment Procedure

Stem cell therapy begins with your provider harvesting stem cell rich fat cells—typically from the mid-thigh or abdomen. In some cases, your provider may combine these stem cells with platelet rich plasma to boost their rejuvenating properties.

Once the stem cells are prepared for re-injection, your skin will be numbed with a topical anesthetic to improve comfort. From there, your provider precisely injects the stem cell mixture into target areas that can benefit from natural rejuvenation.

In general, these are areas that have begun to droop, sag, wrinkle, or crease. When it comes to facial rejuvenation, common target areas include:

  • Under the eyes
  • Hollows of the cheeks
  • Frown lines
  • Forehead
  • Nasolabial folds
  • Lips

Results Following Stem Cell Therapy

After stem cell treatment, patients observe their facial skin to be plumper and firmer. As the stem cells continue their process, the skin produces increased levels of natural collagen and elastin. This will reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines, restoring skin quality to the face and producing a more youthful glow.
