Iriderm laser is used specifically for brown spots, age spots, broken capillaries, rosacea, or telangiectasias of the face. Skin conditions such as these can make the skin look tired and unbalanced. A safe and effective way to minimize the appearance of these skin conditions is through Iriderm Laser Treatment.

Iriderm Laser Treatment

At Ranch and Coast Plastic Surgery, our professional staff can help you turn back the time of older skin appearance with Iriderm Laser Treatment—resulting in younger, healthier looking skin.

Iriderm Laser Treatment is performed as a short, outpatient procedure that can be completed in minutes with virtually no pain (perhaps brief, mild stinging), and no anesthesia required. There are no side effects to this facial treatment, and patients can return to work the same day and perform other daily activities.

How Iriderm Laser Works

The Iriderm Laser light is absorbed by red blood cells on the face that carry oxygen—specifically broken capillaries (telangiectasias), as well as brown and black spots. After facial treatment, red or pigmented skin cells break down and begin to fade, while healthy skin cells are not affected. Lighter skinned patients, such as of English or Irish ancestry, are more common to develop telangiectasias, although this facial condition can affect people of any background.
